Done! My first salmon is lying on the gravel. The river Bystraya was teeming with salmon. But the fishing was not easy, because the fish came to the river not for feeding. Only their natural catching reflex make it possible to get some of them. Some kinds of salmon, like the pink salmons, almost completely ignored my fishing lure.

I was surprised, that the Russian didn't eat the delicious meat of salmon. Perhaps the reason was, that the higher the fish come to the river the worse get the meat, due to the exhaustion of the salmons after the long battle against current and hindrances. The local people only took the head and the fins of the fish and cooked a traditional Russian fish soup with onions and potatoes, so called "uha". The cooked meat at the head of the fish is regarded as delicacy, so the Russian required me to gnaw it off.

The fresh caviar is quickly prepared in the wilderness too. One need only a bigger amount of salt.
