The democracy in Uganda is to a high degree owing to the person of its President Yoweri Museveni. In the long bush wars under his leadership the criminal regimes Obote's and Amin's was overthrown. After Museveni got President he has got guarantor for the democracy, security, elimination of corruption and the well-being of the economy of Uganda. Such unselfish behavior is still a seldom case in Africa, where achieving the power is often equal in the best case to the dictatorship and corruption and in the worse case to the violence and lawlessness.
